Meet Our Staff
Kim is the owner and founder of Kim’s Pharmacy, is a Haywood County native and Jonathan Creek resident with long roots in the area. We have been able to trace our roots back to County Tyrone, Ireland. I graduated from UNC Chapel Hill School of Pharmacy in 1990 and worked for the next 18 years at various pharmacies across Western North Carolina, including Revco in Canton and Hazelwood and Village Pharmacy before opening my own in 2008. I was drawn to pharmacy by my uncle who owned a Medicine Shoppe in Pensacola,Florida. It was either this or veterinarian and I knew I wouldn’t be able to stand seeing animals in pain so pharmacy it was.
I married my high school sweetheart, Jimmy, and my hobbies include travel, photography and gardening.
Little known fact: I did a shark dive in South Africa.
My name is Dakota Allen and I was born and raised in Macon County. I grew up in Franklin, NC where I attended Franklin High School. From there I went on to Western Carolina University in pursuit of my bachelor’s degree in biology. After seeing a number of my own family members and friends enter the healthcare field and how they were able to make an impact into people’s everyday lives I decided to enter the field of pharmacy. Upon graduation from WCU I went on to pursue my doctorate degree at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill while attending their satellite campus in Asheville. Right after graduation I started my career at Kmart pharmacy in Waynesville before progressing on to Kim’s Pharmacy. In my free time I love to be doing something outdoors and it’s very likely you can find me on the creek or the lake.
My name is Ashley Droze. I was born in Baltimore, MD but raised in Charleston, SC. I studied Chemistry at the College of Charleston for 3 years before I was accepted to the Medical University of South Carolina College of Pharmacy. After graduating in 2009, I completed a Residency in Community Practice with Kerr Drug and stayed on as adjunct faculty at the South Carolina College of Pharmacy. After teaching for one year, I took a full-time position with Publix Pharmacy. My parents retired to Asheville in 2012, so I moved here with my husband and two fur babies 3 years ago and am excited to have become a recent addition to Kim’s team. We love to hike and travel in our spare time and are also both competitive pool players
My name is Michelle Davis and I am a pharmacist at Kim’s Pharmacy in Waynesville, NC. Prior to pharmacy school at the UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy – Asheville Campus, I graduated from Pisgah High School in Canton, NC and attended UNC-Asheville to pursue a chemistry degree. My professional goal was always to become a healthcare provider in order to achieve my personal goal of giving back to my community. My dream to become a pharmacist was born while volunteering at the Good Samaritan Clinic in Waynesville, specifically with the Medication Assistance Program. My passion to help others is fulfilled not only through my career, but also through service at my local church. In my downtime, I enjoy spending time with my family, hiking, photography and travel. My ultimate dream is to have the opportunity to use my skills as a healthcare provider to serve internationally.
Hello, I’m Bill Morris and I have been a pharmacist since 1974. I owned my own pharmacy for years, Smith’s Drug Store, complete with soda fountain, compounding and nursing home consulting. I have worked for Kim’s Pharmacy since 2011 and I specialize in “natural” pharmacy using herbs, vitamins and lifestyle changes in a functional medicine approach to look at the root cause of illness and help the body heal itself. I have been married to my wife, Neese, for 50 years. We have 3 children, 2 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. I absolutely love what I do and invite you to make an appointment with me for a Wellness Consult.

Her hobbies include reading and hanging out with her furbies – Jake, Bella and Toby.
Robin is our compounding technician. She is the one responsible for making all of our compounds per the prescriber’s order. She is a Haywood County native and has been a technician since 1995 and with Kim’s Pharmacy since its inception in 2008. My name is Crystal Stanford. I am a native of Haywood County and I started at Kim’s in March of 2020 as a cashier but I am working on my pharmacy technician certification. My name is Grace Burch. I was born and raised in Haywood County. I have lived in Haywood County all of my life and I love it here. I attended Tuscola High School where I graduated in 2016. I have been a certified pharmacy technician for a little over a year now, but I have worked at Kim’s Pharmacy since I was in high school. When I’m not at work, I like to be outside. You can find me off in the woods somewhere hanging in my hammock, hiking, fishing, or at the lake. I have 2 fur babies, a dog named Sue, and a cat named Olive.
My name is Anne Shelton and I was born in Shelby county Tennessee in 1967. We moved to Guam when I was 6 weeks old and that started our move around the country. In my 50+ years on this planet, I have lived in every state in the United States with the exception of North Dakota and Alaska, both are on my bucket list. I’ve lived in western North Carolina since 1988, with a brief move to Mississippi for a year and a brief 2 years in California and have been a certified pharmacy technician since 2005 off and on. I have 4 grown children and 9 grandchildren and have had many varied jobs over the years. When I’m not at work you can probably find me at home playing games on my computer or iPad.
Hi! My name is Alaysia, I am a new employee here at Kim’s who started near the beginning of October. I am 20 years old and just graduated in 2019. I was born and raised here in Waynesville and that shocks people due to the fact that I don’t have a thick southern accent. I’m a natural born singer and a danger when it comes to go kart racing. I’m looking forward to meeting and helping all of you in the best way I can!
My name is Terry Caldwell and I moved to Haywood County with my son Ray Bryant in 1999 from South Carolina. I started at Kim’s Pharmacy in March of 2020. You will find me assisting customers in the store and at the drive-thru window with their prescription and over the counter purchases. I have also worked as a Rehabilitation Technician for the Wound Care and Physical Therapy Department at the Outpatient Care Center for Haywood Regional Medical Center which has given me the knowledge and skills for continuing service to the Haywood Community at Kim’s Pharmacy. I admire the teamwork and dedication of all the coworkers at Kim’s. When I am not at work you will find me at home working in my yard or helping my partner, Albert Russell, with his carpenter projects. Fun fact about Terry: She is called “MAW” by her son’s friends and “Yard Lady” by her neighbors on Hemphill.
My name is Allison and I attend Haywood Community College. I am also a triplet. I love to ride horses and fish in my spare time. I first started at Kim’s Pharmacy through Tuscola and was hired after I graduated in 2019.
